Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together it may decrease the effects of levothyroxine.Inform your doctor on priority, appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your condition.

  • Multivitamin-Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together it may decrease the effects of multivitamin. Multivitamin should be administered at least 4 hours before sevelamer. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications. Inform your doctor on priority, appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your condition.

  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol)-Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together it may decrease the effects of cholecalciferol. Cholecalciferol should be administered at least 4 hours before sevelamer. Inform your doctor on priority, appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your condition.

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.
