What is this used for:

• Hypertension

• Liver cirrhosis
• Ascites or odema

When to not take this medicine:

• Hypersensitivity or allergy towards Spironolactone
• Anuria (Low urine volume)
• Renal failure
• Liver damage
• Hypotension
• Preexisting hypovolaemic
• Cardiac arrhythmias
• Aminoglycosides or cephalosporin therapy

How should i take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

How this medicine works:

This medicine reduces the blood pressure by preventing the reabsorption of sodium, potassium, chlorine and increasing the urinary excretion of water.

• Amikacin-Major

• Streptomycin-Major

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

4. It is recommended to avoid driving or using heavy machinery immediately after consuming this medicine.

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
