Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.
How this medicine works:
Metoprolol lowers the blood pressure by acting on the muscles of the heart to reduce the heart rate and increase the blood circulation and Amlodipine works by blocking the calcium receptors within the blood vessels causing them to dilate and reducing the blood pressure

Drug interactions:

When these medicines are taken together combination it may increase the levels of digoxin in blood and may cause side effects like slow pulse, loss of appetite, nausea, visual changes, or irregular heartbeats.
