Summer is at its peak! While it brings with it the chance to spend time near any waterbody, it at the same time brings a lot of skin problems. Regardless of your earnest attempts to keep skin-related issues at bay, you may end up with some, given the warm climate.

Acne breakouts are quite common during the summer season. These are basically the result of clogged pores which happen when sweat combines with oil and bacteria (due to dirt) on the skin.
Sunburn and Sun Poisoning
If you are facing redness of the skin, pain, itchiness and blisters on your skin after prolonged sun exposure, it means you got sunburnt. Sunburn or sun poisoning is your skin’s response to extreme UV damage which usually worsens within 24 to 48 hours after you are burned.
Blocked sweat glands can lead to rashes and tiny itchy bumps on your skin, known as heat rashes. Usually, they go away in a few days on their own, but if they continue to persist, you must see a doctor.
Your skin gets dry and itchy when it loses an excessive amount of oil or water. It can happen due to moist air, hot days, cooled rooms, and chlorinated pools; most common triggers leading to dry skin during summers.
Due to moisture in our sweat, our body starts harbouring bacteria in the folds of our body. These bacteria decomposes to produce a distinctive offensive odour. Due to excessive sweating in summers, this skin-related issue is more common.
As the mercury rises, our skin problems also increase. So this summer, keep bumps, itchiness, rashes and other skin irritations away by staying hydrated, applying sunscreen lotion preferably SPF 30 or above, taking cool showers every now and then with mild soap, and applying deodorants. You should also wear loose clothes and a hat to forestall undesirable skin issues.
