How should I take the medicine:

  • Aspirin - Moderate

  • Ibuprofen - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, there may be a chance of an increase in the blood pressure in the body. If you experience any unusual signs and symptoms then, inform your doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Carbamazepine- Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, Carbamazepine may decrease the levels and effectiveness of amlodipine in blood, which may lead to the least chances of treating your clinical condition. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual signs and symptoms immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Simvastatin- Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are used together, there may be an increase in the effectiveness of simvastatin and may result in an increase in the side effects like, liver damage, kidney damage, rhabdomyolysis etc. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual signs and symptoms immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.
