Clozapine can lower white blood cell count, and combining it with other medications that can also affect bone marrow function such as penicillAMINE may increase the risk. You may be more likely to develop serious and potentially life-threatening infections as a result. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

  • Calcium gluconate-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Products that contain magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, and/or other minerals may interfere with the absorption of penicillAMINE into the bloodstream and reduce its effectiveness. You should take calcium gluconate at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the penicillAMINE dose, penicillAMINE should be taken at least 2 hours before and not less than 6 hours after Suprep Bowel Prep. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

  • Digoxin-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together it may decrease the effects of digoxin. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or if you experience worsening of your heart symptoms. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

  • Leflunomide-Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together can increase the risk of side effects that affect your bone marrow function, resulting in low numbers of different types of blood cells. This can make you more likely to develop anemia, bleeding problems, or infections. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.
