Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.
How this medicine works:
This medicine works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation and slows the progress of the condition with certain joint diseases. It works in Wilson's disease by helping the body to remove excess copper.

Pregnancy warning:
Category D; There is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience or studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
Lactation warning:
Use of this medicine is not recommended for lactating and breastfeeding mothers unless absolutely necessary. Inform your doctor about the use of this medicine. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.
Renal dose adjustments:
Care must be taken for individuals with kidney disease while taking this medicine. Please discuss appropriate dose adjustments with your doctor. Your doctor may also prescribe a suitable alternative on the basis of creatinine clearance values.
Hepatic dose adjustments:
Care must be taken for individuals with liver disease while taking this medicine. Please discuss appropriate dose adjustments with your doctor. Your doctor may also prescribe a suitable alternative.
Drug interactions:
Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Clozapine can lower white blood cell count, and combining it with other medications that can also affect bone marrow function such as penicillAMINE may increase the risk. You may be more likely to develop serious and potentially life-threatening infections as a result. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.
Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Products that contain magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, and/or other minerals may interfere with the absorption of penicillAMINE into the bloodstream and reduce its effectiveness. You should take calcium gluconate at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the penicillAMINE dose, penicillAMINE should be taken at least 2 hours before and not less than 6 hours after Suprep Bowel Prep. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Contact your doctor if your condition changes or if you experience worsening of your heart symptoms.
