Drug interactions:

  • Acetylsalicylic Acid - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. The use of these medicines are contraindicated since they may give serious adverse reactions which may lead to coma or death. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.

 

  • Ibuprofen - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, may affect your kidney function, especially when they are used together frequently or chronicallyIf you experience any signs and symptoms like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain or weight loss, fluid retention, swelling, shortness of breath, muscle cramps, tiredness, then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Diphenhydramine - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Sildenafil - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together may add to the blood pressure-lowering effect of this medicine. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, or a rapid pulse or heart rate then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Lithium - Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together, this may cause unusual signs and symptoms that may worsen your condition. If you experience any such, It is recommended to inform the doctor on priority. Monitoring closely is necessary. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on your condition.

  • Simvastatin- Major


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are used together, there may be an increase in the effectiveness of simvastatin and may result in an increase in the side effects related to the liver gives liver damage and kidneys damage like rhabdomyolysis that may cause death. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual signs and symptoms immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


 

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.
