What is this used for:

• High blood pressure

When to not take this medicine:

• Hypersensitivity towards Perindopril or Indapamide
• If you suffer from heart rhythm problems, diabetes, gout, or kidney, liver, thyroid, or parathyroid disease.
• During pregnancy

How should i take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

How this medicine works:

Indapamide works by making the kidneys get rid of unneeded water and salt from the body into urine. Perindopril works by decreasing certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently

Drug interactions:

Amantadine- Minor

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. The use of these medicines are contraindicated since they may give serious adverse reactions which may lead to coma or death. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.

Amifostine- Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. If you experience any signs and symptoms like headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Aminolevulinic acid- Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. The use of these medicines are contraindicated since they may give serious adverse reactions which may lead to coma or death. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.

Benazepril- Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together may be additive in lowering your blood pressure. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, fainting, or headaches then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Calcitriol- Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, they can cause your blood calcium levels to become too high.If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, lethargy then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Dicumarol- Minor

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. The use of these medicines are contraindicated since they may give serious adverse reactions which may lead to coma or death. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

Missed dose instructions:
