How should I take the medicine?

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

How this medicine works:

Paracetamol works by increasing the pain threshold that requires a huge amount of pain to develop before the patient feels it,  and also helps in decreasing the fever by its action in the brain. Caffeine acts as a central nervous system stimulant

Drug interactions:

  • Dapsone - Major


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Co-administration of these medicines may cause liver damage, G6PD enzyme deficiency, methemoglobinemia, or anemia. A suitable alternative may be considered based on the condition of the patient. 

  • Fosphenytoin- Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Co-administration of these medicines may cause damage to the liver or kidneys. A suitable alternative may be considered based on the condition of the patient. 

  • Isoniazid-Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Co-administration of these medicines may cause damage to the liver or kidneys. A suitable alternative may be considered based on the condition of the patient. 

  • Remdesevir-Moderate


Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. Co-administration of these medicines may cause damage to the liver or kidneys. A suitable alternative may be considered based on the condition of the patient. 

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

  2. Use of this medicine is not recommended for individuals with kidney or liver diseases as this may cause organ failure or may cause severe health complications like coma or even death.

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time  for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
