When to not take this medicine:

• Hypersensitivity to torsemide, or sulfonylureas or spironolactone or any of the ingredient of the product
• Patients with anuria
• Acute renal insufficiency
• Hypotension
• Cardiac arrhythmias
• Hyperkalemia
• Addison’s disease
• Pediatric patients with moderate to severe renal impairment

How should I take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

How this medicine works:

This medicine reduces the blood pressure by widening the blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II receptors within the body.

Alcohol interactions:

Food interactions:

It is recommended to avoid foods, supplements, or salt substitutes that contain potassium.

Expert Advice:

1. The tablets can be taken, with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Swallow it whole.
2. Individuals may experience tinnitus (ringing of the ears) and reversible hearing loss. It is recommended to inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of the mentioned side effects.
3. Seek emergency medical help if you experience any of the side effects like Dizziness, Light-headedness, fainting, etc.
4. Medicines, salt substitutes or supplements that may contain potassium must be avoided for individuals receiving/consuming this medicine
5. It is recommended to avoid driving or using heavy machinery immediately after consuming this medicine.

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
