Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

 

  • Sitagliptin - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together it may help control blood glucose levels, which may lead to a reduction in your dosage requirement of insulin or any other diabetic medications you are receiving. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, weakness, tremor, nausea, hunger, sweating, and palpitation then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Metformin - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together can increase the risk of hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, confusion, tremor, nausea, hunger, weakness, perspiration, palpitation, and rapid heartbeat then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids - Unknown

  • Ciprofloxacin - Major

Missed dose instructions:
