How should i take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.


How this medicine works:

Losartan in this medicine combination reduces the blood pressure by widening the blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II within the body and Hydrochlorothiazide reduces the blood pressure by increasing the excretion of water and salts like sodium chloride, potassium from the kidneys

  2. The concomitant use of this medicine combination is not recommended with medicines containing aliskiren and are diagnosed with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment.
  3. Care must be taken when this medicine combination is used in elderly patients.
  4. Seek emergency medical help if you experience any of the side effects like Dizziness, Light-headedness, fainting, etc.
  5. Medicines, salt substitutes or supplements that may contain potassium must be avoided for individuals receiving/consuming this medicine

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
