How should i take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

How this medicine works:

Rabeprazole works by reducing the digestive secretions within the stomach and Levosulpiride increases the gastric movement by blocking the dopamine D2 receptors

Drug interactions:

• Atazanavir-Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it can decrease the absorption and effectiveness of atazanavir. Appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

• Methotrexate-Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it can increase the toxicity levels of methotrexate in the blood and may lead to serious side effects. If you experience any signs and symptoms like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, drowsiness, or dizziness inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

• Atorvastatin-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it may increase the occurrence of side effects. If you experience any signs and symptoms like unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness then inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

• Dabigatran-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it may cause you to bleed more easily. If you experience any signs and symptoms like dizziness, red or black stools, vomiting blood or blood clots, and abdominal pain then inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

• Digoxin-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it may increase the effects of digoxin. If you experience any signs and symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, visual disturbances, then inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

• Furosemide-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together, it may decrease the levels of magnesium in blood and cause hypomagnesemia. If you experience any signs and symptoms like palpitations, muscle spasm, tremor, seizures, abnormal heart rhythm, fatigue, upset stomach, dizziness, etc. then inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

• This medicine combination can be taken, with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Swallow it whole.
• The use of this medicine is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
• Prolonged use of this medicine combination may alter prolactin levels in males and females
• Seek emergency medical help if you experience any of the side effects like blistering or peeling of the skin, itching, swelling of the eyes, face, lip, mouth, difficulty in swallowing, hoarseness, rash on cheeks or arms, etc.
• Use of this medication may not cause sedation. If you experience any dizziness or drowsiness it is recommended to report to your doctor immediately

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
