How should i take the medicine:

 

  1. This medicine is for external use only. Do not take it by mouth. Follow the directions on the prescription label. 
  2. Wash your hands before and after use. 
  3. Apply a thin film to the affected area and rub in gently. 

 

How this medicine works:

Mometasone is a corticosteroid. It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.

  • Red or pus-filled bumps on your skin (less common)
  • Acne (common)
  • Mild itching, tingling, or burning (less common)
  • Severe skin irritation (rare)
  • Blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain (rare)
  • High blood sugar-increased thirst, increased urination, dry mouth (rare)
