How should i take the medicine:

Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

 

How this medicine works:

It works by stopping the body from producing a certain substance that may cause inflammation.

Acetohexamide: Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. The use of these medicines are contraindicated since they may give serious adverse reactions which may lead to coma or death. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.


Bacitracin: Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. When these medicines are taken or used together may occasionally cause kidney problems, and combining it with other medications that can also affect the kidney such as bacitracin may increase that risk.If you experience any signs and symptoms like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain or weight loss, fluid retention, swelling, shortness of breath, muscle cramps, tiredness, weakness, dizziness, confusion then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


Cisplatin: Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. Ibuprofen: Moderate

When these medicines are taken or used together may occasionally cause kidney problems, and combining it with other medications that can also affect the kidney such as ibuprofen may increase that risk If you experience any signs and symptoms like weight loss, fluid retention, swelling, shortness of breath, muscle cramps, tiredness, weakness, dizziness, confusion,then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.
