  • Diphenhydramine - Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together, may increase the blood levels and effects of diphenhydramine. If you experience any signs or feel uneasy then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Fluoxetine - Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together, can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate If you experience any signs and symptoms like fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, then inform to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Alprazolam- Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating If you experience any signs and symptoms like impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination. then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.


  • Midazolam-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken or used together, the blood levels and its effects of midazolam maybe reduced. If you experience any unusual signs and symptoms then inform your doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while receiving/taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

  1. This medicine may be taken with or without food. However, your doctor may decide when to take this medication based on your clinical condition.
  2. Children younger than 18 years of age should not take this medication as the safety and efficacy of this medication are not clinically established.
  3. It is recommended that not to perform any activities like driving or operating machinery as this medicine may give sedation or dizziness.
  4. Report any unusual signs and symptoms experienced immediately to the doctor.
  5. This medicine may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts with either depressive or psychiatric disorders. Patient’s caretakers should be well educated on the signs and symptoms of depression.

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost the for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
