How should I take the medicine:

These drops are to be instilled into the eyes twice a day. Follow the instructions provided by the doctor carefully.

  • Reserpine- Moderate

Combining these medications may cause the occurrence of severe hypotension and the patient may experience symptoms like syncope, dizziness, blurred vision, incoordination, nausea, vomiting, Vertigo, etc. It is recommended to then inform the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments may be done, or suitable alternate medicine may be considered based on the condition.

 

  • Diltiazem -Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicines. Care must be taken when these medicines are used together since they may cause adverse reactions like arrhythmias, irregular heartbeat, hypotension, bradycardia, vertigo, blurred vision, mydriasis, etc. Suitable alternatives may be considered based on the condition of the patient.

 

  • Verapamil- Major

Expert Advice: 

  1. For Ophthalmic Use only use only
  2. It is recommended to remove contact lenses if being used before administering this medicine.
  3. If you experience a burning sensation of blurred vision while using this medicine it is recommended to inform your doctor.
  4. Inform your doctor if you have undergone any recent surgeries like dental procedures, Eye surgery, etc.
  5. Inform your doctor if you had any recent eye injuries.

 

Usage Advice:

  1. Do not touch the tip of the applicator (dropper)
  2. Keep the lid of the applicator closed at all times
  3. Discard the unused medicine safely after use.

 

Missed dose instructions:

Apply this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.

 

Overdose Instructions:

Seek emergency treatment or contact your physician in case if you experience any unusual signs and symptoms during the treatment with this medicine.
