Take this medicine with an adequate amount of water as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine in small or larger amounts than recommended.

Drug interactions:

• Tamoxifen-Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together regularly for an extended period of time, it may decrease the effectiveness of tamoxifen which is used for the treatment of breast cancer. Inform your doctor about the history or present usage of medicines so that appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered and the best treatment possible can be delivered. Inform your doctor on priority when you experience any unusual signs and symptoms.

• Amitriptyline-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, it may cause blurred vision, confusion, dry mouth, etc. If you experience any unusual signs and symptoms, immediately inform your doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your clinical condition.

• Duloxetine-Major

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, it may increase the risk of a condition known as serotonin syndrome. If you experience any unusual signs and symptoms like irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, tremors, shivering, cramps, vomiting, etc. immediately inform your doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your clinical condition.

• Clozapine-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, it may increase the effectiveness and blood levels of clozapine. Close monitoring is required. If you experience any signs and symptoms like drowsiness, drooling, low breathing, convulsions. etc immediately inform your doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your clinical condition.

• Ondansetron-Moderate

Inform your doctor about the use of either medicine. When these medicines are taken together, it may increase the risk of a condition known as serotonin syndrome. If you experience any unusual signs and symptoms like irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, tremors, shivering, cramps, vomiting, etc. immediately inform your doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or suitable alternatives may be considered based on your clinical condition

Alcohol interactions:

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended while taking this medicine as it may cause interactions and lead to serious adverse effects and may worsen the health condition.

1. This medicine may be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the best course of treatment.
2. This medicine is not recommended to use in children below 18 years of age without your doctor’s advice.
3. This medicinie may give suicidal thoughts and may be behaviourial change. This could be seen in mainly in young patients. It is good to monitor closely for any odd changes in the patient.
4. This medicine may induce an increase in blood pressure. It is recommended to keep an observation on your blood pressure to be normal levels.
5. It may cause bleeding disorders during the treatment with this medicine. It is recommended to monitor the patient closely.
6. It may lead to sexual disorders like erectile dysfunction, libido or painful orgasms.
7. This medicine should be used with extreme caution as the risk of severe adverse effects are very high in elderly patients.
8. This medicine may have withdrawal symptoms due to discontinuation abruptly. It is good if the medicine’s dose is decreased gradually. 

Missed dose instructions:

Take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost the for your next dose skip the dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
