  • Do I need a valid prescription to buy medicine?

    Yes, your health is of paramount importance to us. We do not supply medicines without valid original prescriptions.

  • Why do you need the original prescription?

    Original prescription is a statutory requirement to dispense medicines. However, in case of prescription for Schedule X drugs, we need two copies of the original prescription provided by the doctor as one copy will be retained for our records and the other shall be returned to you after it is stamped as dispensed as required under law.

  • How do I get back the prescription?

    Original prescriptions will be stamped as dispensed and returned along with the order delivery.

  • Will deliver medicines 24*7?

    Currently, we operate from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

  • Which cities does Medlife deliver orders to?

  • Are medicines sold by authentic?

    Yes, we only deliver branded medicines. We practice zero tolerance towards medicines or medicines that are of substandard quality. Our systems constantly monitor announcements on banned and substandard medicines to weed it out from our inventory immediately.

  • Will my purchase details (historical medical data) be secured?

    Yes, all purchase and order transaction are secured. Please refer to our privacy policy.

  • How do I place an order on

    Ordering on app is very easy. Please follow the following steps to place an order:
    • Download app from your google play store for android. (iOS and Windows coming soon)
    • Open the app to attach the prescription
    • Share the prescription for the products you want
    • Provide your contact details

  • How is my order processed at

    On receiving your order, our customer care team will contact you to confirm the order and arrange to pick up the original prescription from your door step. The order will be dispensed by our approved registered pharmacists as per the prescription provided and will be delivered to your door step at scheduled time.

  • Can I order medicines which are not in prescription?

    We require original prescriptions to dispense the required medicines. However if the order has medicines which do not need prescriptions we will be able to dispense the same without a prescription.

  • How many prescriptions I can order at a time?

    You can upload a maximum of five prescriptions per order. However we recommend you to create separate orders for different patients.

  • Is it possible to track orders?

    Yes, we will provide order updates through SMS on the mobile number provided during ordering. You can also call our customer care at 1860 1234 1234 to know the status of your order.

  • Can I schedule my order as per my convenient time?

    Yes, you can schedule your order as per your convenient time by informing the customer care team during order confirmation.

  • What do I do if some medicines are missing in my order?

    During the delivery process, we ensure that you verify all the contents of your order and confirm whether it is as per the prescription/ordered quantities. In a highly unlikely scenario of a medicine missing in the order, please inform the delivery person or call the customer care team to get the issue resolved.

  • My uploaded prescription got rejected. What might be the reasons?

    Please follow the following dos and don'ts for prescription submission as per the Drugs and Cosmetics Act


      Please ensure your prescriptions have the following
    • Date
    • Doctor's Name
    • Doctor's Registration Number
    • Patient's Detail
    • Dosage Information
    • Duration of the course
    • Strength of the medicine
    • Signature of the doctor
      In case any of the above are incomplete in your prescription, please contact your Doctor to get it rectified.


    • Don’t upload prescription photo copies/scans
    • Don’t upload prescriptions of Doctors not recognised by MCI (viz. BHMS - Homeopathy /BAMS - Ayurveda etc.,)
    • Don’t upload prescriptions which have already been used and stamped as fully dispensed
    • Don’t upload prescriptions which are more than a year old
    • Don’t upload previous bills as a substitute for prescriptions during your fresh purchase of medicines
  • How long will take to deliver my order?

    We deliver at pre-agreed timeslots for the prescriptions uploaded using app. Generally the medicines are delivered within 24 hours to a maximum of 48 hours *

    * Except where the required stocks are not available with Medlife, Mysore, Belgaum, Davanagere, Dharwad, Hubli, Tumkur, Shivamogga, city pincodes and on Sundays (for orders placed after 12 noon on Saturdays)

  • Can I reschedule my delivery? If yes, then when and how?

    Order delivery can be rescheduled by calling the customer care at 1860 1234 1234.

  • What happens if I am not available at the delivery address?

    Our delivery team will contact you on your registered phone number and reschedule the delivery if necessary.

  • Which cities does Medlife deliver orders to?

  • How can I pay for my order?

    We have multiple options for you to make payment for your order easier and convenient.

    Online:         You will receive a link through SMS which will enable you to make a payment online. You will see two options: Razorpay and Mobikwik.

    Razorpay will let you pay using Netbanking, Debit/Credit Cards, E- Wallets (Freecharge, Ola Money, Airtel Money, PayZapp, PayU Money) or UPI. Once you click on the link, you will be able to see all the options and you can choose an option most convenient to you.

    Mobikwik option will let you pay exclusively through your Mobikwik wallet.

    On Delivery: You can choose to swipe your debit/credit card, pay cash or pay through PayTM at the time of delivery of your order.

  • Is there any delivery charge for orders?

    A nominal delivery charge of Rs. 25 (inclusive of service tax, if any) for all orders below Rs.10,000 is levied in select cities. Your invoice will have details of the same. Delivery charges are not refundable, in case you choose to return a few or all medicines from your order.

  • When will I know my bill amount?

    Your order amount will be informed to you through SMS once your order is packed and ready to ship. Depending on the available stock of medicines and their batch numbers the value of your order shall be calculated. Prices may differ for a medicines, as the price of medicine may vary if they are manufactured under different batches. You will be billed according to batch available with us at the time of packing your order.

  • Can I cancel the order? If yes then when and how?

    We understand that there will be genuine reasons when you decide to cancel an order. You may cancel your order before delivery by calling customer care number 1860 1234 1234.

  • Can I return my order?

    We understand you’d like to return your order due to certain reasons. We offer a 30-day return policy. You can raise a return request within thirty (30) days of receiving the order, subject to certain conditions. You can see our Return Policy here.

  • How can I place a return request?

    You can raise a return request in just a few simple steps within 30 days of product delivery:

    • Step 1: Raise a return request by writing to us or call 1860 1234 1234. Please mention the order number, sales invoice number, date, reason for return, name and quantity of items to return clearly.
    • Step 2: Our delivery team will collect the package from your doorstep along with the original sales invoice.
    • Step 3: Your order will be reviewed for eligibility. Refer our Return Policy here.
    • Step 4: Once approved, a refund/replacement will be initiated.
  • Refund Timelines:

    Refunds for all eligible Medlife orders are issued to the payment method used at the time of purchase, except for Cash on Delivery. The time frame for different payment modes is given below:

    * Refund timelines depend on bank turnaround times and RBI guidelines. This may change from time to time. Business days shall mean the working days on which Medlife corporate office operates.

  • For Cash on Delivery Orders:

    For orders placed using Cash on Delivery as the payment method, refunds can be processed to your bank account via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). You will need to update following information to enable us to process a refund to your account.

    • The Bank Account Number
    • IFSC Code
    • Account Holder's Name
    • Bank Branch
    • Bank Name

    Important: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on your Medlife account should match with the name of the bank account holder. If you have paid the bills using a third party account, refunds will be made to the same account. NEFT refunds will typically be initiated in three business days from our end and will be credited to your account in another two to three business days. Medlife will not be liable for any delay caused in refunds due to delay by third party affiliates (including banks), in providing information by the customer, technical issues and other reasons beyond its control.

  • What is a coupon code?

    Coupons are additional discounts offered on top of available discounts to and redeemable by the recipient for use on items listed and purchased on Medlife.

  • Can I use more than one coupon at a time?

    No, only one coupon can be used per purchase.

  • Can a coupon be redeemed more than once?

    Most Medlife coupons are limited to one-time use. However, if Medlife cancels the order due to non availability of medicines or any other reason, you would be able to use the coupon again.

  • I am seeing an error while applying a coupon. What can be the reason?

    You can see errors if the coupon code is no longer valid. It might happen if you enter a wrong code or the coupon has expired or you have already used the coupon code once earlier.

  • Whom should I contact in case of trouble while using the coupon?

    Please write to us if you face trouble while using the coupon.

  • When will my e-cash points be credited to my account?

    E-cash points shall be credited to the Users account after successful delivery of the order eligible for the E-cash points provided such order is not cancelled or returned at a later date.

  • Which orders shall be eligible for E-cash points?

    Medlife shall run promotional offers from time to time, under which selected coupon code shall be eligible for E-cash points. The orders that shall be placed using the said coupon codes shall be eligible to receive E-cash points.

  • How many E-cash points will I get?

    Depending on the promotional offer and the order value, the E-cash points shall be calculated. Thus the number of E-cash point shall vary based on the promotional code used and order value.

  • How many E-cash points can I redeem on a single order?

    The E-cash points to a maximum of 15% of the order value will be automatically redeemed on the User’s next order with within such time as Medlife may deem fit.

  • What shall be the validity of the E-cash points credited to my account?

    E-cash points are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of their being credited to the User’s account and are non-transferable, non-saleable, non-exchangeable and can only be redeemed on next purchase with

  • Are there any other terms and conditions applicable on my use of the E-cash points?

    Yes, all E-cash points are subject to following terms and conditions:
    Medlife reserves the right to discontinue the offer at any time and/or change, amend, extend, withdraw and/or alter any of the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice/intimation or giving any reason and it is the sole responsibility of the User to keep themselves up to date about any such changes.
    Notwithstanding anything contained herein, these terms are in addition to and not in derogation to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy available at from time to time.
    All disputes with regard to any dispute relating to the E-cash points shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at the registered office of Medlife.
